Challenge:

As the main distribution center for mail throughout the Midwest and Chicago area, this building is operational 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The project required us to be extremely sensitive to any water entry because even a little water could destroy precious mail and stall operations. There was also a lot of decking that needed to be replaced. All of the existing insulation was completely saturated with moisture.

Solution:

We advised the client to install interior protection throughout the building. The installation of the interior protection was scheduled with the owner daily to eliminate any downtime from their sorting machines. We also developed specific protocol during the roofing process to eliminate water entry into the building. The protection of the interior was paramount to avoid any type of disruption.

"We have had the pleasure to work with DCG Roofing on several occasions. They have always been extremely professional and easy to work with. They completed the projects on time and provided all the required documentation to seamlessly close them out. I highly recommend DCG and look forward to working with them again."
